FREE COMPUTING COURSES
Do you feel your computer skills could do with some improvement? Devon County Council are offering a range of course, a range of which covers computing. These include:
- Computer skills
- Digital image editing
- Excel: create and edit a basic spreadsheet
- Word
These courses are being run online in the first week of November, although if the dates don’t suit, you can register your interest with your local centre and they will see what they can do.
In addition to Computing, a range of other courses are also available.
· wellbeing (Pilates, mindfulness and more)
· digital skills and computing
· employability (CV writing, interview skills and more)
· courses for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
· English for speakers of other languages
· English
· maths
All the courses are tutor-led, so you will be joining a group of learners and a tutor in real-time, online on Zoom, from the comfort of your home. You’ll have time to ask questions or ask the tutor to repeat instructions. You can also do courses with your family and friends, or work colleagues. They are a great way to go out of your comfort zone in a supportive, caring and friendly environment. The courses are relaxing, and can help you cope with stress and anxiety and increase your wellbeing.
